Trump ridicules May, tips Johnson as “good PM”

US President Donald Trump and Theresa May are trying to put behind them the bombshell interview published in the British newspaper The Sun today in which Trump chided the UK premier for her stance on Brexit saying that he had “told her what to do but she ignored me.” He also said in the interview that her arch-enemy, Boris Johnson would make a “good prime minister”. In public appearances together today, both leaders have emphasised the “special relationship” between the two countries.
