L’Esperança foundation helps 6,000 in five years
Set up in 2013 by the Obra Social La Caixa, in five years, the Fundació de l’Esperança has attended to a total of 6,000 people in a vulnerable situation. The foundation tackles poverty and social exclusion on a local level in Barcelona’s Ciutat Vella neighbourhood, every year offering help to some 400 families in a vulnerable economic situation.
