Employment loss from 2007 will be made up in 2021

The economic crisis in 2007 saw the destruction of 665,000 jobs in Catalonia and so far, since recovery began in 2013, half of those lost have been regained (362,000 up to the first quarter of 2018), according to a Manpower study on the labour market. The study predicts that with the present rate of job creation it will not be until 2021 or 2022 before pre-2007 figures are reached.
