Four arrested for Castelldefels jewellery robbery

The Catalan police have arrested four people in relation to the robbery on Monday of a jeweller’s shop in the Ànec Blau shopping centre in Castelldefels (Baix Llobregat). The police said yesterday that they are looking into what relationship the suspects may have had with the robbery. Two of the arrests were made in conjunction with the Madrid police and the local police in Sant Boi de Llobregat. The armed robbery took place at 11am, after which the robbers fled in a vehicle they later abandoned and burnt out.
