Radiotherapy machine shut down in Reus
One of the four linear accelerators for cancer treatment in Tarragona, located in the hospital of Sant Joan de Reus, is shut down for summer, a measure called “incomprehensible, because cancer does not take holidays” by the President of Spain’s Society of Radiation Therapy Oncology, Carlos Ferrer. The Reus PSC has also denounced the decision.
