Sants kicks off local festival with decorated streets
The annual local summer festival of the Sants neighbourhood in Barcelona began yesterday. Unveiled on the first day of the festival were 14 streets decorated for a contest, the prizes for which will be handed out today. There was also a community aperitif and a paella competition. In the afternoon there was traditional sardana dances and a performance by the Dúo Mediterráneo.
