TV operator attacked at demonstration
A cameraman from Telemadrid was attacked yesterday afternoon at the beginning of the demonstration convened by Cs at the Ciutadella Park in Barcelona to support the woman who was attacked a few days ago while she was removing yellow ribbons there. It appears that the cameraman was confused with a TV3 operator when some of the crowd mistook the logos on his clothing for the typical yellow ribbon. The man was punched a number of times before the Mossos d’Esquadra could reach him and escort him out of danger. The police advised the man that he should make a formal complaint. Meanwhile, the presumed aggressor of Sunday’s attack has been released after a court appearance with charges pending.
