Green light for private bullet train to France

Spain’s securities exchange commission has given the go-ahead to a new international passenger high-speed rail service between Madrid and Montpellier, with a stop in Barcelona. This train will not be operated by Renfe, as the tender went to Intermodalidad de Llevant (ILSA), a subsidiary of Air Nostrum. The service will be cheaper and faster than the Ave.
