Gerard Piqué’s new Davis Cup takes shape

The new Davis Cup format, approved by the assembly of the international federation last August and promoted by the company Kosmos, presided over by Barça player Gerard Piqué, is now taking shape. Four of the eighteen countries have qualified for next year’s 108th edition at a venue that has yet to be decided. The four countries are last time’s semifinalists, that is France, Croatia, the US and Spain, while twelve more teams will come out of a draw that will be made on the 26th of this month.
