Maragall hopes for political solution to Delgations
The Catalan external affairs minister Ernest Maragall yesterday reopened the Generalitat Delegation in Berlin, the first after the lifting of article 155. Maragall expressed the hope that a “political solution” will halt the appeal announced by the Spanish government against Catalan representations abroad. The Generalitat plans to reopen all its Delgations as well as to open new ones in the coming months. Meanwhile, Generalitat President Quim Torra met in Barcelona with members of the Catalan UK Friendship group from the British parliament.
