Intelligent connectivity over mobiles at MWC

GSMA announced yesterday that from now on the Mobile World Congress will be called simply MWC, the acronym with which it has been known for some time now. The decision is based on the desire to “remove emphasis from the mobile side and reflect current expansion in the field of communications,” says Michael O’Hara, GSMA director of marketing. In fact, the next edition of the congress will be dedicated to intelligent connectivity and place an emphasis on “hyperconnectivity” via 5G and the IoT.
