Pensions to be tied to increases in the CPI

The Pacto de Toledo, Spain’s all-party commission which oversees pension payments throughout the country, reached a majority agreement yesterday so that pensions will once again be revalued according to the CPI although other indicators may be taken into account, but inflation will be the reference factor. The measure will not be immediate and will depend on sustainability factors.
