Police union files suit over treatment of young migrants

The Barcelona prosecutor has accepted a suit filed by Catalan police union, Sap-Fepol, and will open an investigation into the Dgaia child protection service for allowing underage migrants to sleep in police stations due to a lack of places. Social affairs minister, Chakir el Homrani, said yesterday that the government was “fully confident” that it is handling the issue correctly.
