Swedish leader cannot form government

The leader of Sweden’s Moderate Party, Ulf Kristersson, said on Sunday that he had been unable to get enough support for a centre-right coalition government. Sweden has been in a state of political deadlock since the September 9 election. Kristersson had tried to form an alliance with four parties which would keep the far-right Sweden Democrats out of the new government.
