Woman dies after being hit by train at station

A middle-aged woman died yesterday afternoon when she was hit by a train as she was crossing the train track at the Mont-roig del Camp railway station in Tarrragona. Immediately three SEM ambulances arrived on the scene but the emergency services were unable to save her life. Witnesses claimed that the woman had seen the oncoming train but had taken a chance to cross and was hit.
