Banc Sabadell earns equality distinction
Banc Sabadell has received the DIE Award for Equality in Business, awarded by the Spanish Ministry of Health, Consumerism and Social Welfare, for its policies in favour of equal professional opportunities for men and women in the workplace. According to a press release from the bank, more than 50% of its 15,000 strong staff, are women and 23% of them already occupy management positions. The bank has implemented a plan to promote women in the future occupying 50% of managerial positions.
