Former PSOE minister Carmen Alborch dies
The former Socialist Minister of Culture Carmen Alborch died yesterday Wednesday in her home in Valencia at the age of 70, after a lengthy illness. Alborch formed part of the government of Felipe González from 1993 and was a Socialist MP during three legislatures, representing Valencia. She was also the author of a number of literary works dealing with feminism, politics and culture.
