PP says Sánchez is behind a Coup d’etat

The race between the Spanish conservative PP and Ciudadanos to make the most incendiary and provocative speech against Catalan independence and the government of Pedro Sánchez, yesterday reached its zenith. The accusation of staging a coup d’etat was used only two months ago for President Torra and the imprisoned Catalan political and civil leaders. But yesterday the new leader of the PP and leader of the opposition to the Congress, Pablo Casado, accused Sanchez of participating in a coup that, according to him is “occurring in Spain”. Sánchez’s connivance with the independence movement to justify removing the PP from office is proof of his accepting to break up the Spanish State.
