Khashoggi case a hot topic between leaders in Paris

The case of the Saudi journalist killed last month at Riyadh’s consulate in Istanbul was an undercurrent at the commemoration of the centenary of the end of the First World War, this Saturday in Paris. Donald Trump and his Turkish counterpart, met to discuss their response to the case. Erdogan maintains the murder was ordered by the “highest level” of Saudi government, and recordings from inside the consulate -now shared between several western governments- indicate it took only seven minutes to end the Washington Post correspondent’s life.
