Uncertain final straight in Brexit negotiations

Theresa May said she was still confident about the outcome of the Brexit negotiations after a 45-minute meeting yesterday in which her ministers informed her about the latest advances made in the meetings with Brussels. However, she also admitted that there are still “a small number” of pending issues. Despite the fact that an agreement could materialise before the end of the year, May’s work would not end there, as she would then have to convince Parliament to vote in favour of it.
