Huawei affair creating a diplomatic storm
The extradition order for the Huawei VP and daughter of the founder, Meng Wanzhou, has created a diplomatic shockwave between the USA and China. The Chinese Minister of Foreign Affairs summoned the American ambassador, Terry Bransted, for a meeting yesterday, to protest the arrest and demand that Washington withdraws the extradition order sent to Canadian officials.
