18% of university students go abroad to study

More than 18% of university students in Catalonia spend some time studying abroad. It has been a growing trend in recent years and at 18.8% is close to the 20% European target set by the Bologna Process. This is one of the positive figures from the study, Informe d’Indicadors de Formació i Docència de les Universitats Públiques Catalanes for 2018. The study also suggests that the performance of university students has risen considerably since the European Higher Education Area was launched in 2010.
