CaixaBank introduces facial recognition
CaixaBank has introduced bank machines which use facial recognition, avoiding the inputting of PIN numbers. The launch of the new technology, hitherto unused anywhere else, took place yesterday in four of its so-called “stores” in Barcelona. The technology, developed by Fujitsu and FacePhi, apparently looks at 16,000 points on a face to ensure security.
