Ex- Vatican No. 3 behind bars for sex offences
Cardinal George Pell, until recently the Vatican’s treasurer, and third highest ranking official in the Catholic church, was arrested yesterday when he went to court in Melbourne, Australia. On March 13 his prison sentence will be announced and it could be up to 10 years. On Tuesday, it was announced that he had been found guilty of raping and abusing two 13-year-old boys in 1996.
