Zubin Mehta and Simon Rattle at BCN Clàssics
For the very first time the BCN Clàssics 2019-2020 program is to hold concerts in the Auditorium in addition to those held at the Palau de la Música. The two institutions are collaborating to put on 10 concerts from September 18 2019 to May 11 2020. The program features top-class international artists, widely renowned pieces from the classical repertoire and works from Catalan musical heritage. The Vienna Philharmonic and the Israel Philharmonic, conducted by Zubin Mehta, the London Symphony, with Simon Rattle as conductor, and the Bayerischer Rundfkunk with Mariss Jansons will all be appearing.
