Poblet, early music’s summer home
Poblet’s Santa María monastery will once again become the centre of baroque music this summer. For another year, Poblet will stage the prestigious festival devoted to early music, with a programme of five concerts over three days. The Capella Reial de Catalunya and Hesperion XXI, with master viol player Jordi Savall conducting, will be one of the festival’s biggest draws.
