Digital primary care visits go up 9.1% to 3.2 million

Digital visits to primary care centres (CAP) in 2017 rose by 9.1%, from 2.9 to 3.2 million. Meanwhile, CAP visits in person went up by only 0.3%. In 2017, there were a total of 43.5 million visits. The Institute of Catalan Health (ICS) has boosted the use of electronic visits through La Meva Salut platform, which “allows for improvements in accessibility and response times,” says an ICS report.
