Von Trier returns to Cannes with psycho-killer film

Danish filmmaker Lars Von Trier has been invited back to Cannes seven years after being banned for saying that Hitler also had his reasons and that he could even empathise with him. In an official section, but not included in the competition and without a press conference, Von Trier has presented the film The House That Jack Built, about a psycho-killer, played by Matt Dillon, who narrates some of his crimes to a stranger to show he acts with the idea of turning his murders into a work of art.
