Aznar returns to carrer Genoa to meet with Casado
The new president of the PP, Pablo Casado, met yesterday at party headquarters in Madrid with former Spanish PM and PP president José Maria Aznar, Casado’s former mentor. It was Aznar’s first visit to the PP HQ in three years and lasted almost two hours. On Monday, Casado met with his predecessor, Marian Rajoy. Part of Casado’s campaign was the idea that within the party there is “room for everyone”. The two leaders talked about international politics and the “challenges facing Spain.”
