Spain wins bronze in Grass Hockey World Cup

The Spanish national team with its seven Catalan players won a historic bronze medal in the Women’s Hockey World Cup yesterday in London (UK). The medal came with a 3-1 victory over former World Champions, Austraila. In the final, Holland, as expected, made short work of the Irish team. The nearest Spain has been to a medal was in 2006 when the team finished in fourth place.
