Ever more young Catalans choosing to go abroad

Job insecurity, temporary contracts, being overqualified and low salaries are among the reasons why an increasing number of young Catalans choose to emigrate. A study presented yesterday by Avalot-Joves, of the UGT union, says the number of people between 15 and 34 deciding to live abroad has increased by 115%, from 35,550 to 76,658 this year.
