Average pensions rise 3.6% to €992 per month
The average pension in Catalonia rose to €992.5 at the beginning of August, which represents an increase of 3.6% over the same month last year. According to data from the Institute of Social Security (INSS) released by the Ministry of Employment and Social Security, 1,720,095 pensions are collecting pensions in Catalonia; 0.9% more than in 2017.
