House prices rose by 9.3% in second quarter

The Housing Price Index in Catalonia increased 9.3% during the second quarter of this year compared to the same period last year, according to the Spanish National Institute of Statistics (INE) yesterday. With regard to the first quarter, the increase was 3.7%, the highest growth recorded since the second quarter of 2015, when it was 5.4%. The Index now shows 17 successive quarterly growth periods, especially in the final two quarters of last year reaching 10% and 10.2%, respectively
