Maria Tena wins the XIV Premi Tusquets

The Madrid novelist María Tena has won the XIV Premi Tusquets for Nada que no sepas. The jury valued “the seductive evocation of the cosmopolitan and libertine lifestyle of a group of families in Uruguay of the sixties”, that contrasts with “the narrowness of life in Spain at the same time”. It also underlined the reflection on “the experience of freedom, sex and the passage of a young woman as a teenager in the carefree and apparently happy paradise of adults.” The book will be published in November.
