Changes to power bill announced by Minister

The Spanish government will suspend the tax on electricity generation for a period of six months and introduce an exemption from the hydrocarbon tax to deactivate the tax known as the “ecology cent” in fuels used in electricity generation, in an attempt to bring down the power bill.
