El Punt Avui journalist Montse Oliva dies aged 52
El Punt Avui journalist Montse Oliva died in the early hours of Sunday in Madrid aged 52. Oliva was the newspaper’s delegate in the Spanish capital, where she had worked for many years. Montse’s sudden death, due to an illness detected a few weeks ago, left the El Punt Avui staff stunned. Her funeral takes place today. Montse, born in Torà, in Segarra, joined the Avui newspaper two decades ago.
