Jobless rate fell to 10.6% in third quarter of 2018

Catalonia’s jobless rate fell to 10.6% in the third quarter of 2018. According to Spain’s statistics institute, the number of people out of work fell by 28,000 between July and September, to 400,000. Some 33,500 jobs were created in the same period. The figures show that Catalonia is leading the fall in unemployment in Spain as a whole, where the rate fell to 14.5%.
