Sicily: Nine family members die due to heavy rain

Ten people died this Saturday night, in the Palermo region of the Italian island of Sicily, when the river Milicia burst its banks after persistent heavy rain. Nine of the dead belonged to the same family, and their bodies were found in the family home in the town of Casteldaccia. The tenth fatality was a 44 year old man and comes as 29 weather-related deaths have occurred across the country.
