Hodeida battle escalates humanitarian crisis

The battle for the port city Hodeida in Yemen has intensified, with frequent bombings by government forces supported by the coalition led by Saudi Arabia. Air raids and the ground attack on the outskirts of the city have caused more than 150 deaths since Thursday. The UN has redoubled the warnings that the war is endangering medical facilities and the lives of hundreds of thousands of civilians who are starving.
