Basque cities go to the polls on right to decide

San Sebastián became the first Basque capital to hold a consultation on the right to decide regarding the relationship between the Basque Country and the Spanish State, yesterday. Citizens headed to the ballot boxes in Irun, Zalla, Balmaseda and Alonsotegi as well. 230,210 residents from these towns were balloted, at 58 polling stations set up for the occasion.
