Tension around election of Interpol president
The election of the new president of Interpol has once again sparked diplomatic tension between the United States and Russia. South Korean Kim Jong Yang, who was publicly supported by the US, beat the Russian candidate yesterday and was named president at the general meeting of the international police force in Dubai. The Russian government says clear pressure was exerted, but accepts Jong Yang .
