Women take the street against male violence
There were demonstrations across the country yesterday, for the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. 3,000 campaigners took to the streets in Barcelona, and marched to Sant Jaume square, whilst similar manifestations were held in cities large and small across Catalonia, as well as Rome and Paris. Six women were killed by male violence in Barcelona last year.
