Ukrainian and Russian warships in “incident”

Yesterday Russia closed the Kerch Strait, a narrow band of water linking the Black Sea to the Azov Sea, after an “incident with Ukrainian warships”, amid a rise in tensions between Moscow and Kiev. Russia’s version of events was that three ships illegally entered Russian waters, which consisted of “provocative actions aimed at triggering conflict in the region.”
