Trump says China will drop tariffs on US cars

Donald Trump said yesterday that the agreement reached with his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping, at the G20 summit in Argentina includes “withdrawing and reducing” the 40% tariffs Beijing imposes on American car imports. The global stock exchanges welcomed the truce in the commercial war between the US and China. Trump and Xi pledged not to raise tariffs for the next 90 days.
