Work by Amat and peace inscription for 17-A memorial
Barcelona City Council is to install an inscription with the phrase: “Let peace cover you, oh city of peace” in Spanish, Catalan and Arabic, along with a drawing by Frederic Amat near the Joan Miró mosaic on the Rambla to honour the victims of the terrorist attacks of August 17, 2017. The phrase was chosen from among 5,535 texts submitted to the Council and will be printed on a plaque with the date and time of the attacks, next to the logo that the artist Frederic Amat created as a result of the tragedy.
