Record figures for public transport in Barcelona
Barcelona’s bus and metro services registered a record number of passengers in 2018, with a joint total of 615 million, a 4% increase on the year before. At the same time, the level of passenger satisfaction with both public transport services also went up, with a 7.73 satisfaction score for the metro service and a 7.78 score for the bus service. “We are carrying many more people, and with a level of satisfaction we have never seen before,” said the head of the TMB authority, Mercedes Vidal.
