Casa Batlló visits to areas under restoration

In a radical move, the Bernat family, owners of Barcelona’s top Gaudí attraction, Casa Batlló, which has a million visits annually, have decided to offer something special to local visitors, who no longer feel welcome in Gaudí’s buildings due to the huge numbers of foreign visitors. The idea is to provide exclusive visits to areas under restoration, something more in line with local citizens’ cultural concerns, which differ from those of tourists, who are happy to see the typical elements of the building.
