Casado’s election promise adds fuel to the fire

PP leader Pablo Casado promised yesterday to commemorate the fifth centenary of the conquest of Mexico if he wins the election. Casado did this in response to statements made by Mexican president Andrés Manuel López Obrador. “We won’t repent forhaving a great story everyone can admire,” he said and added that there was no need to apologize because Mexico “did not even exist five centuries ago”.
