WowAir cancels all flights and goes bust
Icelandic low-cost airline WowAir announced that it was cancelling all flights, leaving some passengers stranded, after it failed to agree new deals with investors and venture capitalists to sustain its business. It was founded 8 years ago by entrepreneur Skuli Mogensen and used single-aisle planes for trans-atlantic and European flights at very low-cost.
