Festival Internacional de Guitarra

Tribute to Leo Brouwer at L’Hospitalet de l’Infant

The international guitar festival in the coastal town of L’Hospitalet de l’Infant has programmed five concerts, a master class and exhibitions, all dedicated to classical guitar. This year, the festival joins in with the international celebrations paying homage to Cuban composer, conductor, and classical guitarist Leo Brouwer, who turned 80 in March. Brouwer himself will be at the event, conducting a concert on July 25. The festival kicks off a day earlier with Brazilian guitarist and singer-songwriter, Badi Assad.
